vibecode.law is a community-driven platform where legal technology innovators showcase their vibecode projects, discover new tools, and connect with like-minded builders transforming the legal industry.
These Community Guideline establish the standards and expectations for our community. By participating in vibecode.law, you agree to follow these guidelines and help us maintain a welcoming, honest, and valuable space for everyone.

Part One: Core Principles
1. Honesty and Transparency
Be truthful about your projects and yourself.
- Accurately represent what your project does and its current state of development
- Be upfront about the technology used, including AI-assisted code generation
- Do not exaggerate capabilities or make misleading claims
- Clearly distinguish between working features and planned features
2. Respect for Others
Treat every community member with dignity and respect.
- Engage constructively, even when you disagree
- Welcome newcomers and those learning
- Respect diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences
- Assume good intentions unless proven otherwise
- Remember there's a human being behind every username
3. Quality Over Hype
Prioritise substance over marketing.
- Focus on what your project actually delivers
- Provide genuine value to the legal tech community
- Share knowledge and help others improve their projects
- Give credit where it's due
- Let your work speak for itself
Part Two: Project Submission Guidelines
4. Submission Requirements
When submitting a project to vibecode.law, you must:
4.1 Provide Accurate Descriptions
- Clearly explain what your project does
- Describe the problem it aims to solve
- Be specific about features and functionality
- Include screenshots or demos where helpful
- Be honest about the project's maturity level (prototype, beta, production-ready)
4.2 Identify AI-Generated Components
- Disclose if your project was created using AI-assisted coding ("vibecoding")
- Be transparent about which AI tools or models were used
4.3 Avoid Production Claims for Experimental Code
- Do not claim your project is "production-ready" unless it has undergone thorough testing, security review, and quality assurance
- Experimental (e.g. alpha, beta or release candidate) and prototype projects should be clearly labelled as such
- Be conservative in your claims about reliability and accuracy
5. Prohibited Projects
The following types of projects are not permitted on vibecode.law:
5.1 Malicious Software
- Malware, viruses, trojans, or any harmful code
- Tools designed to exploit vulnerabilities in other systems
- Projects that facilitate cyberattacks or unauthorised access
5.2 Deceptive Projects
- Projects with intentionally misleading descriptions
- Fake or non-functional projects submitted for promotional purposes
- Projects that impersonate or copy others without attribution
5.3 Unauthorised Legal Practice
- Projects marketed as providing legal advice when they do not involve qualified lawyers
- Tools that falsely claim to replace the need for legal counsel
- Projects that facilitate the unauthorised practice of law
5.4 Harmful Content
- Projects promoting hate, discrimination, or violence
- Tools designed to harass, stalk, or harm individuals
- Content that violates the dignity or rights of others
5.5 Intellectual Property Infringement
- Projects that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or patents
- Unlicensed use of proprietary code, data, or content
- Projects that misappropriate trade secrets
Part Three: Critical Disclaimers for Project Users
6. Understand the Risks
Important: Read this section carefully before using any project.
6.1 Projects May Be Experimental
Projects listed on vibecode.law are submitted by independent developers and are often experimental. You must understand that:
- Projects may contain bugs, errors, or security vulnerabilities
- Features may be incomplete or behave unpredictably
- Projects may not have undergone professional security audits
- Documentation may be incomplete or inaccurate
6.2 May Not Be Suitable for Production Legal Work
Do not use projects from this platform for production legal work without thorough independent review.
Before using any project in a professional legal context, you must:
- Conduct comprehensive code review
- Perform security testing and vulnerability assessment
- Validate outputs against known correct results
- Ensure compliance with applicable professional regulations
- Obtain independent professional advice where appropriate
- Obtain your organization's approval where appropriate
You assume all risk and responsibility for any data you provide to third-party projects.
6.4 No Endorsement
Listing on vibecode.law does not constitute endorsement, verification, or approval. We do not:
- Review or audit projects for security or functionality
- Verify the accuracy of project descriptions
- Guarantee that projects work as described
- Take responsibility for any harm caused by projects
You bear full responsibility for vetting any project before use.
Part Four: Community Interaction Guidelines
7. Constructive Engagement
Help build a community that makes everyone better.
7.1 Feedback and Reviews
- Provide honest, constructive feedback
- Focus on the project, not the person
- Offer specific, actionable suggestions where possible
- Acknowledge what works well, not just what doesn't
- Update your reviews if issues are resolved
7.2 Discussions and Comments
- Stay on topic and contribute meaningfully
- Ask questions in good faith
- Share knowledge and expertise generously
- Cite sources when making technical claims
- Avoid self-promotion in others' project discussions
7.3 Collaboration
- Be open to collaboration and contribution
- Respect others' time and effort
- Follow through on commitments you make
- Give credit to contributors and collaborators
8. Prohibited Behaviour
The following behaviours are not permitted:
8.1 Personal Attacks
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Personal insults or ad hominem attacks
- Doxing or sharing others' private information
- Threats of any kind
8.2 Dishonest Conduct
- Fake reviews or ratings
- Vote manipulation or coordinated inauthentic behaviour
- Impersonating others
- Spreading false information about projects or people
8.3 Spam and Self-Promotion
- Excessive self-promotion unrelated to discussions
- Repetitive posting of the same content
- Unsolicited commercial messages
- Link spam
8.4 Discrimination
- Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Hate speech or symbols
- Exclusionary behaviour
Part Five: Enforcement
9. How We Enforce These Rules
We take violations of these Rules seriously. Our enforcement approach is proportionate and progressive.
9.1 Warning
For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning explaining the rule that was violated and how to comply in future. We have discretion as to whether to issue a warning or proceed to other enforcement.
9.2 Content Removal
We may remove content that violates these Rules, including:
- Project listings
- Comments and reviews
- Profile information
- Any other user submissions
9.3 Temporary Suspension
For repeated or more serious violations, we may temporarily suspend your account. During suspension, you will not be able to:
- Submit new projects
- Post comments or reviews
- Access certain features
9.4 Permanent Termination
For more serious violations or persistent rule-breaking, we may permanently terminate your account. This may include:
- Removal of all your content
- Permanent ban from the Platform
- Reporting to relevant authorities (where appropriate)
9.5 Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting us. Include:
- Your username
- The action you are appealing
- Your explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
Part Six: Reporting Violations
10. How to Report
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Rules, please report it to us.
10.1 What to Report
- Projects that violate our guidelines
- Comments or reviews that are abusive or inappropriate
- Users engaging in prohibited behaviour
- Any other violations of these Rules
10.2 How to Report

- Include links, screenshots, or other evidence where possible
10.3 What Happens Next
- We will review your report
- We may contact you for additional information
- We will take appropriate action based on our investigation
- We may not be able to disclose the outcome due to privacy considerations
10.4 No Retaliation
Retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith is itself a violation of these Rules and will result in enforcement action.
Part Seven: Final Provisions
11. Relationship to Other Policies
These Community Guideline are part of your agreement with vibecode.law, along with our:

In case of conflict, the Terms of Use take precedence.
12. Changes to These Rules
We may update these Rules from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date

- Where appropriate, notify users of significant changes
Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Rules.
